Shipping Information

You can enjoy Woody candies all over the country – and even ship it to a special someone oversees. There are a few things to remember in order to ensure your candy gift will arrive as fresh as possible at its destination.

Freshness: When will my order ship?

Our candy is made fresh daily, and to pass on this freshness to our customers we fill orders as quickly as possible.

Warm-Weather Shipping For Candy

Hot Weather: We only ship orders that could melt in the hot weather to arrive by Friday of the same week. Your order may be held until the following Monday. Otherwise, your candy could melt in a hot UPS truck over the weekend.

Summer Shipping Policy (May through September)

During the summer months (May – September), overnight shipping is highly recommended for orders containing chocolate to prevent melting. Non-chocolate candy can also be sensitive to excessive heat or sun exposure.  Ground Shipping and 3 Day shipping are not available during this time.

Planning for holidays and special occasions

Woody Candy Company cannot guarantee on-time arrival by a specific holiday or occasion due to shipping restrictions of our carrier. Please allow enough time for your product to ship to its destination.

Events beyond our control

Woody Candy Company will not be responsible for delays caused by events beyond our control, which may include but are not limited to adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, labor disputes and disruptions in transportation networks.

Shipping Addresses

Woody Candy Company is not responsible for incorrect shipping addresses. We will guarantee delivery if addresses are correct and up-to-date. We are not able to ship to P.O. Box addresses; physical street addresses only, please. We also require a phone number for the recipient.

Address Accuracy

There will be a $12 fee assessed for any address corrections made by our carrier in order to ensure proper delivery of the package. Woody Candy Company does not accept responsibility for incorrect or incomplete addresses. This fee will be charged to your original form of payment. Woody Candy Company will not issue a refund for packages refused by the recipient, or returned due to inaccurate shipping addresses.

The total cost consists of the unit price of your candy gift with the added shipping cost based on this table.

Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii must be shipped via 2-day or 1-day Express service.

All international addresses as well as Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands accrue additional charges.

Please inquire if you are planning to ship to troops oversees to APO and FPO addresses. As a veteran-owned and operated business, we proudly support the troops.

Non-Summer Shipping Policy (January – April and October – December)

Standard shipping: All orders placed by noon central time will be processed the same day and will ship out to arrive within 3 business days using 3-day express shipping for most destinations. Please note that due to the perishability of our product, we do not ship out on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

2-day shipping: All orders placed by noon central time will be processed the same day. Orders placed after noon central time, will be processed on the next business day. Please note that 2-day delivery orders placed after noon on Wednesdays will not be shipped until the following Monday.

Overnight shipping: All orders placed by noon central time will be processed the same day. Orders after that will be processed on the next business day. Please note that overnight shipping orders placed after noon central time on Thursdays will not be shipped until the following Monday.

Return Policy

Woody Candy guarantees that our fine chocolates and candy will be fresh and arrive in perfect condition. If you are not satisfied with our product upon arrival, we will replace it, free of charge. Please contact us at 800-842-8904 for replacement.
